BLACK VEIL BRIDES' 'We Stitch These Wounds' Cracks U.S. Top 40
July 28, 2010"We Stitch These Wounds", the debut album from theatrical dark rockers BLACK VEIL BRIDES, sold nearly 11,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 36 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was released on July 20 via Standby Records.
The cover art for "We Stitch These Wounds", a beautiful Victorian style painting of vocalist Andy Six stitching his infamous "wound," was created by renowned painter Richard Villa.
BLACK VEIL BRIDES's "Perfect Weapon" video can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Patrick Fogarty, who also helmed the band's video for "Knives and Pens" last year.
The band is currnetly headlining the Hot Topic Presents: The Sacred Ceremony Tour, along with VAMPIRES EVERYWHERE!, MODERN DAY ESCAPE and GET SCARED. The six-week trek kicked off in San Diego on July 2.
